Account setup
A short checklist to get your account ready for real sending. Most of it is one-time setup — the main step is verifying your sending domain, which takes a couple of minutes of DNS work.
1. Profile and company details
From your account settings, add your company name, physical mailing address, and contact details. A valid postal address is more than a formality: anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar) requires a real address in commercial email, and EmailFlow AI uses it to populate the footer of your messages. Set your timezone too — it's used when you schedule campaigns.
2. Verify your sending domain
This is the single most important step — and the only technical one. Open Sending › Domains, add the domain you send from, and publish the DNS records we generate (an ownership TXT record plus DKIM CNAME records). Once they resolve, click Verify and every email you send is authenticated as your domain on our managed delivery infrastructure. Full walkthrough: Sending domains & DKIM.
3. Choose your From address
Pick the From name and address your recipients will see — any address at your verified domain works, no per-address verification needed. See Verified senders for picking an identity that builds trust and keeps replies flowing to the right inbox.
4. Build your brand profile
Run a one-time brand scan so the AI learns your logo, colors, fonts, and voice. This makes every generated email look like yours from the first draft. On your first visit the dashboard offers this scan directly — enter your website address and watch the capture run — and the Add your brand item on the dashboard's Get Started checklist tracks the step until your profile is in place. You can refine the captured details anytime in Brand Voice or fine-tune the palette roles and fonts on Brand Assets.
5. Import your audience
Create your first list and import contacts. Imported and newly added contacts are verified automatically, so risky addresses are filtered before they can hurt your sender reputation — included in your plan at no extra charge.
6. Invite your team
On plans that include multiple seats, invite teammates from Users & roles and assign each person the appropriate role. Your plan's seat count is listed under Plans & quotas.
7. Pick your theme (optional)
The app defaults to a light theme. If you prefer working in the dark, the theme menu in the top bar (the sun/moon icon) offers Light, Dark, and System — System follows your operating system's setting and switches live when it changes. Your choice is saved to your account, so it follows you across browsers and devices.
One deliberate exception: email previews, template thumbnails, and the design canvas always render on a light background, because that's how your emails will look in most inboxes — the app's theme never changes how your actual emails are rendered.
Once these are in place you're ready to send confidently. Jump back to the Quickstart to ship your first campaign.
