Account setup
A short checklist to get your account ready for real sending. Most of it is one-time setup — the main step is connecting your own sending provider (Amazon SES recommended), which takes a couple of minutes.
1. Profile and company details
From your account settings, add your company name, physical mailing address, and contact details. A valid postal address is more than a formality: anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, CASL, and similar) requires a real address in commercial email, and EmailFlow AI uses it to populate the footer of your messages. Set your timezone too — it's used when you schedule campaigns.
2. Connect your sending server
EmailFlow AI sends through your own provider, so connect one before your first send. We recommend Amazon SES — the cheapest (about $1 per 10,000 emails) and easiest to set up — but SendGrid, Mailgun, Elastic Email, SparkPost, Blastengine, and generic SMTP all work too. Open Sending › Servers, choose Add server, paste your API key or SMTP credentials, and send a test. Because you own the server, email volume is unlimited. See Sending servers.
3. Authenticate your sending domain
This is the single most important deliverability step. Add the DNS records we generate — including a DKIM signature — so the mail your provider sends is signed as you. Authenticated domains dramatically improve inbox placement. Full walkthrough: Sending domains & DKIM.
4. Add a verified sender
Choose the From name and address your recipients will see. Verified senders confirm you control that address, which keeps your mail trusted and your replies flowing to the right inbox.
5. Build your brand profile
Run a one-time brand scan so the AI learns your logo, colors, fonts, and voice. This makes every generated email look like yours from the first draft. You can refine the captured details anytime in Brand Voice.
6. Import your audience
Create your first list and import contacts. Imported and newly added contacts are verified automatically, so risky addresses are filtered before they can hurt your sender reputation — included in your plan at no extra charge.
7. Invite your team
On plans that include multiple seats, invite teammates from Users & roles and assign each person the appropriate role. Your plan's seat count is listed under Plans & quotas.
Once these are in place you're ready to send confidently. Jump back to the Quickstart to ship your first campaign.
