Brand Assets
Brand Assets is your library of approved images — logos, product shots, lifestyle photos, and graphics — that the AI can draw on when it builds and edits your emails. Give the AI real visuals to work with and every design looks authentically yours.
Why a managed asset library
Generic stock imagery is the quickest way to make an email feel off-brand. By storing your own assets, you ensure the AI reaches for your product photos and graphics first — so a generated email looks like it came from your team, not a template.
How the AI understands your assets
When you add an image, EmailFlow AI analyzes it with vision AI to understand what it depicts — the subject, style, and colors. That understanding lets the builder pick the right asset for the right spot automatically: a product close-up for a feature block, a wide lifestyle shot for a hero, and so on. You're not just storing files; you're giving the AI context.
Using assets across the Studio
Your assets are available throughout the AI Design Studio. When you generate an email or run Remix for My Brand, the AI leans on your library to keep visuals on-brand. You can also combine assets with AI image remix to restyle a base image while keeping your subject.
Brand theme
The Brand theme card gives you structured control over the visual system the AI designs with:
- Palette roles — five named slots (primary, accent, background, surface, text) instead of an anonymous swatch pile. The AI knows a primary from a background, so buttons, sections, and copy land in the right colors. Colors captured by an earlier brand scan are slotted into roles automatically, and any additional swatches are preserved beneath the roles.
- Heading and body fonts — the typographic pair applied to generated emails.
- Image style — a standing art direction (say, “flat illustration, pastel tones”) automatically appended to every AI image generation for your account.
Role colors are entered as hex values with a live picker; the editor validates as you type.
Reference email
Seen an email whose layout you love? Save it as your reference email and the AI uses its structure — section flow, hero pattern, column usage, content density, and button styling — as the design baseline for everything it creates for you.
- Choose from gallery — pick any template from the built-in gallery.
- Paste HTML — paste the full source of an email from your inbox; scripts and unsafe markup are stripped automatically.
When you save a reference, the AI analyzes it once and shows the extracted design baseline as a row of facts on the card — sections, hero pattern, columns, density, and button style. Replace or remove the reference anytime; the baseline updates immediately for future generations.
Brand settings for AI
Below your company card on the Brand Assets page you'll find Brand settings for AI — three fields that steer every AI generation for your account:
- AI instructions — standing guidance the AI follows whenever it writes or designs for you. Think “never use exclamation marks” or “always mention our 30-day guarantee.”
- Email footer text — copy the AI includes verbatim in the footer of generated emails, such as the reason the reader is receiving your mail.
- Physical address — anti-spam laws (CAN-SPAM, GDPR) require a valid postal address in marketing email footers; set it once and generated footers include it automatically.
These preferences apply across the AI Design Studio, automations, and subject-line suggestions — they travel with your brand profile, not with any single email.
Part of your brand profile
Brand Assets work hand in hand with your brand voice and colors. The fastest way to populate everything at once is a one-time brand scan, which captures your logo and visual identity straight from your website. Together, assets, colors, and voice make “on-brand” the default for every email you create.
Frequently asked questions
Where do my brand assets get used? Everywhere the AI designs for you — email builds, Remix for My Brand, and subject-line suggestions all draw on your colors, logo, and voice so output looks on-brand from the first draft.
Can I change them later? Yes. Update your assets anytime and future AI generations pick up the changes immediately — existing emails stay exactly as you left them.
What if I don't have brand guidelines? Run a brand scan of your website and we'll extract sensible colors, logos, and tone for you to review and tweak.
